In less than 30-days time, essential workers in the Northern Australian Territory will be subject to one of the strictest Covid-19 vaccination mandates in the world.

Chief Minister Michael Gunner has said that any public interacting employees "needed" to get at least one Covid-19 jab by November 13. If they were not jabbed by this date then they forfeited the right to work and face a $5,000 fine. There is also a mandate for booster shots for those workers in the future.

“If your job includes interacting with members of the public, then you need to get the jab,”

“If you work in hospitality you need to get the jab. If you work in retail or in a supermarket, you need to get the jab.”

"We are doing everything possible to get everyone vaccinated"

Mr Gunner said.

Employers will need to ask for proof of vaccination from employees and build a vaccination status for their employees. Apparently, there will be some exemptions for those that can not be jabbed, but it has to be backed up with medical evidence.

Is this all still a conspiracy theory?
